We collect information to administer prize claims and this Sweepstakes. We do not sell your personal information. No fee is required to claim a prize, and you do not have to agree to marketing to submit a claim.

This Privacy Policy describes how American Cash Awards (“we,” “us,” “Sponsor”), 101 Winner’s Circle, Jericho, NY 11753, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit americancashawards.org, submit a claim, call 1-888-394-1942, or otherwise deal with us in connection with The $7.5 Million American Cash Fortune Sweepstakes™ and related claims administration.

1. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact: full name, phone number, email address, mailing address.
  • Claim information: winner ID / claim code, questions you submit, documentation you return, and the status of your claim.
  • Call information: recordings, transcripts, and notes from outbound or inbound calls with our automated assistant or live representatives, where permitted by law.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar log data when you use this website.
  • Optional marketing preferences: whether you opted in to marketing messages. This is kept separate from claim consent.

We do not require a Social Security number on this website form. Tax identification may be requested later, in writing, only as needed to award a prize and to comply with tax law.

2. How we use information

  • To verify that you are the person identified in a winner record;
  • To process, document, and fulfill a prize claim;
  • To contact you about your claim by phone, mail, SMS, or email;
  • To meet legal, tax, bonding, and recordkeeping requirements;
  • To prevent fraud, impersonation, and unauthorized claims;
  • If you separately opt in, to send marketing about other promotions. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to claim a prize.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • Claims staff and service providers who process data for us (phone, hosting, CRM), under contracts that limit their use;
  • Professional advisors, insurers, and sureties in connection with prize bonding and fulfillment;
  • Government agencies when required (for example, tax reporting or sweepstakes registration);
  • A successor if our claims-administration operations are transferred.

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate fraud.

4. Calls, SMS, and email

If you are a notified winner or you submit a claim, we may call or text the number you provide about that claim. Transactional claim messages are not marketing. Marketing SMS or email is sent only if you opt in on a separate checkbox. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing SMS. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing is not a condition of claiming a prize.

5. Cookies and similar technology

This claims portal uses only what is needed to operate the site and the embedded claim form. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party ad tracking on these pages.

6. Retention

We keep claim and winner records for as long as needed to administer the prize, satisfy tax and sweepstakes recordkeeping rules, and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify them according to our retention schedule.

7. Your choices

  • You may request access to, or correction of, the claim information we hold.
  • You may opt out of marketing at any time (this will not cancel a pending prize claim).
  • You may ask us not to call a number (do-not-call). We will honor that request for marketing and, except where we must complete a legal claim contact, for outreach generally.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a prize-claims operation. No method of transmission is completely secure.

9. Children

This Sweepstakes is not open to minors. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 for claims.
